Amanda and Stephen had such a fun Boulder, Colorado wedding at Boulder Creek by Wedgewood Weddings. Their day was full of color, laughter, and genuine fun. They met while in school together at CU Boulder, and the city has always been a special place for them. Amanda and Stephen also had their engagement photos in Boulder, which you can see here!

Their Story

Here’s their story in Amanda’s words:

“As they say “what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas”, so let’s condense this part. Simply put, we met through a mutual friend on spring break in Vegas. We instantly hit it off and Stephen got my number. I was a junior and he was a senior at CU Boulder and we haven’t stopped talking since!

When we returned to the University of Colorado, we realized we were in the same physics lecture! After that, we started sitting together in class and had some fun nights on Pearl Street before officially dating. We love to ski, camp, bike, hike, paddle board, and host game nights. We are a very extroverted couple so we love getting together with friends and family as often as we can. When Stephen proposed, we were skiing in Vail!”

Boulder Colorado Wedding

Amanda and Stephen wanted their wedding to be fun, colorful, and memorable. They envisioned everyone having a good time dancing, hanging out, and celebrating. I think that description perfectly describes their wedding day! They had a first look in Chautauqua Park then did photos with the wedding party with the flatirons in the background. Everyone took a trolley to the venue for a beautiful ceremony alongside Boulder Creek. After the ceremony, everyone celebrated under a tent and danced into the night.
