It's my goal to help you capture special moments in your life through beautiful photos. Photography sessions are more than that though. I'm truly passionate about creating an experience that is meaningful, memorable and fun while representing who you are.  I want your session to be a time for you to experience a beautiful place together, be yourselves, and have fun together. A Custom Experience

My goal is to create a photography experience that will authentically capture who you are and the connection that you and your partner share. Every session is different because ever couple is different! I encourage couples to think about what you love to do together and what kind of experience you want to share together during the session. Maybe you are traveling to a new place together, or maybe you love to watch sunsets, hike through the woods, hang out with your dog, play in the sand dunes, or even go rock climbing. I'm here to help create that experience for you and then to capture you in a genuine and authentic way.

A session usually goes something like this:
I help you pick a really beautiful location. When we get there, we walk around, hike a little, enjoy the landscape, and maybe even watch the sunset. All the while, I'll be giving you prompts and directions for you to interact with each other. By the end, you'll have beautiful photos, but you'll also have an experience that you shared with your partner that you can remember for years to come. 

Real Moments & Genuine Emotion

While I always make sure to get the classic photos of everyone looking at the camera, I am committed to capturing real moments and genuine emotion. When you look back at your photos,  I want you to remember the moments, what they felt like and how much fun you had. During sessions, I will give you some specific posing, but I'll mostly give you action-based prompts to get you to interact with each other.

My editing style is bright, bold, and colorful while highlighting the natural colors of the landscape. I believe my editing style is timeless, not trendy, and will still look beautiful years from now.

I have 5+ years of experience in wedding, elopement, & couples photography and have photographed 50+ weddings all over the country and even internationally! Whether this is your first time planning photos or you've done it before,  I'm here to help!

More About Me

I don't just show up and take pretty photos. 

Not only is it my goal to take beautiful photos of you, but I want to help make the entire photography session experience something you’ll look back on for years to come.  From the very first email, I work to build a relationship with my clients. I'll help you brainstorm locations ideas, send you a guide for picking outfits, discuss activity ideas, and more. I want  get to know you so that when the session day comes, I can serve you even better.

At the end of the day, the location you choose and the outfits you select won’t matter nearly as much as the memories you make together. I want your session to be a time for you to just be yourselves and enjoy it. Have fun together. Laugh a lot. I’ll take care of the rest! Being a photographer is exhilarating, exhausting, moving, inspiring, fun, a physical workout, lots of work, and a true honor.

My husband and I can easily say that hiring Abby was the BEST wedding decision we made.

She was so helpful through the entire process from assisting with the timeline to making sure she had our “must have” shot list. She is so easy to work with and FUN! Saying that she was just our photographer is like saying the earth is just a rock. It is, but it's also so much MORE.

If you like what you see, fill out the contact form and tell me more about you. I will send you more information and we will go from there!

1. Initial Email Intro

After filling out my contact form, I'll email you with lots more info. You'll have the option to schedule a call wtih me or fill out a digital questionnaire. 

2. Booking

After the initial call or questionnaire, I'll send you a customized recap with a final proposal. We'll be official once the retainer is paid and the final contract is signed!

3. Planning

Once we're official, I will send you a digital session planning guide packed with info that will help you prepare for the session! We will also discuss locations and the schedule for the session. 

4. Pre-Session Questionnaire

About 30 days before the session, I will send you a pre-session questionnaire. Your answers will help me to capture your relationship the best I can. Then we will discuss final logistics.

5. Session Day!

The session day is finally here! Relax and get ready to have some fun.

6. Preview Gallery

Within a week of the session, I will send you a preview gallery of high-resolution images that you can share or print. The preview gallery usually includes about 10-15 images. 

7. Final Gallery

I will deliver your final gallery within 30 days of the session. You'll get an email from me with a link to the gallery of edited, high-resolution photos.

8. Feedback

A few days later, I'll send you a feedback questionnaire. This is your opportunity to give me feedback on your whole photography experience. 

Packages
and Pricing

I believe in keeping my pricing upfront and straightforward. All packages include a comprehensive planning guide, planning assistance, custom location suggestions, and a digital gallery of professionally edited, high-resolution images with full printing and downloading rights. I do not limit myself to a certain number of images, but you can expect about 50 per hour. All packages can be customized based on what you're looking for. If you're not sure which option is best for you, that's ok! Contact me and I'll help you figure out which option best fits your vision.

Note: Sessions are usually only available on weekdays. However, I may have openings on weekends, so you're still welcome to reach out!

Colorful Colorado Session

  • 90 minutes of shoot time
  • 2 outfits
  • 2 locations within a 10-mile radius of each other
  • Primary location must be within a 30-mile radius of Boulder, CO
  • Can include up to about a mile of hiking
  • Custom location suggestions
  • Planning guide
  • High-resolution digital image gallery 
  • $50 credit to use in the online gallery shop

Investment: $900

Front Range Session

  • 60 minutes of shoot time
  • 2 outfits
  • One location within a 30-mile radius of Boulder, CO
  • Can include about a mile of hiking
  • Custom location suggestions
  • Planning guide
  • High-resolution digital image gallery 
  • $25 credit to use in the online gallery shop

Investment: $550

Boulder Local Session

  • 30 minutes of shoot time
  • 1 outfit
  • One location in Boulder, CO
  • Custom location recommendations
  • Can include about 5-10 minutes of hiking
  • Planning guide
  • High-resolution digital image gallery 
  • $15 product credit to use in the online gallery shop

Investment: $350

Full-Day Adventures

If you have a different kind of session in mind, let's do it! For example, we can go rock climbing or sailing, or backpacking for your session. You'll have access to my knowledge of locations and adventures possibilities in Colorado and beyond. I'll work with you to plan the day with custom locations and activities.

Destination Sessions

I will travel anywhere in the world for session! I've photographed weddings, elopements, and sessions all over the country and even internationally. I'll work with you to create a custom experience wherever you want to go. I typically travel a lot each year, so if you have a location in mind, reach out! I may already be planning to travel there.
