Liz and Sean had such a stunning, elegant wedding at Vicmead Hunt Club in Wilmington, Delaware.

Their Story

Liz and Sean met on Bumble in January of 2017. They both grew up in Delaware, went to the same college, and worked at the same country club but never met until they swiped right on each other. Their first date was February 1, 2017 and Sean officially asked Liz to be his girlfriend on St. Patrick’s Day.

Their Wedding

The planning started in 2019 and they had everything booked for 2020. Then the pandemic hit. The day they decided to postpone the wedding, they were kayaking the Brandywine, which made the decision hurt way less since they were together during one of their favorite things. Liz said “it’s definitely been a long and stressful process but also showed us that we handle stress really well as a couple!”

They picked Vicmead Hunt Club in Wilimington, Delaware as their venue and celebrated the reception under a tent on the lawn. Their wedding was elegant, classic, and full of joy.

Special Touches

Liz and Sean’s wedding was filled with unique elements and touches

Both of Liz’s parents walked her down the aisle since she am an only child and her mom learned about to walk again in 2019 after an illness.
Liz’s something old is a handkerchief that her godfather gave to me on Liz’s Baptism.
Liz’s something borrowed was my grandmother’s rosary that she carried in the pocket of her wedding dress.
