Makayla and Brandon had such a fun elopement at Loveland Pass! With a few of their closest people, their pup named Red, and breathtaking scenery, their day was the perfect mix of fun and adventure.

When I asked Makayla and Brandon why they decided on an intimate elopement, here’s what they said:
“It was most important to us that we celebrated our getting married with the people we love most rather than having a big wedding with a ton of people that we wouldn’t really have the time to talk to. We felt that it would be so much fun and more memorable for us to spend an extended weekend together celebrating with family and close friends in a place that we love. The first trip we went on together was in Colorado. We both fell in love with how beautiful it is and were dreading having to leave. It just felt right for us to host our special day in a place that we loved so much!”
The day started at a cozy Airbnb in Keystone, Colorado. The guys got ready on the lower level of the home while Makayla and the ladies were getting ready upstairs. Mayakla shared a first look with her dad, and then we all headed to Loveland Pass for the cermeony.
Makayla and Brandon held their ceremony at a stunning alpine lake near Loveland Pass. Brandon’s brother officiated a beautiful ceremony, and then we did photos with everyone.
After the more formal photos were finished, all of their guests left, and it was just the two of them (and me of course!). Makayka and Brandon walked to a more secluded spot where they exchanged private vows.
Then, we spent time exploring the high alpine landscape for portraits. Loveland Pass is one of the most iconic and beautiful places in Colorado to elope, and the light that evening was gorgeous!
What a wonderful day!
