“Let’s be married!”

That’s what Will and Tara said to each other in their vows at their wedding at Breckenridge Nordic Center. It was a beautiful fall day in the mountains and their wedding was filled with so much joy.

Their Story

In Tara’s words:

“We met through Will’s cousin Megan, who was Tara’s best friend in college and is now the Maid of Honor. Megan had an epiphany that she needed to set us up, so she coordinated a weekend at her family lakehouse in Virginia. I drove down from Pittsburgh and Will flew in from Denver. When I arrived, Megan, Will, and the family dogs came out to the driveway to meet me. I had my hands full, and the dogs were jumping everywhere, and in the chaos, I walked up to Will and shook his hand. Like a business associate. We still joke around and shake hands often. We both left that weekend knowing that we met our person! The rest is history!”

Breckenridge Wedding

The day started with both Tara and Will getting ready at a nearby mountain cabin. Once they were ready, Will and Tara shared an intimate first look in the woods. After taking photos in front of the mountains, Will and Tara had a beautiful ceremony at Breckenridge Nordic Center where they exchanged vows, signed their marriage license, and shared celebratory craft beers. We were lucky to get a super vibrant sunset, and everyone celebrated in the lodge well into the night. It was a perfect day for this amazing couple!
