Hannah and Hansel had an absolutely gorgeous wedding at Toccoa Falls in Georgia! They literally said their vows right in front of the towering falls, and it was just magical. I’ve been friends for Hannah and Hans for years. I met them while living in Delaware, and we shared a love for adventure and the beauty of the state. They even modeled for a campaign that I did with Delaware State Parks, and we did this really cool sunset paddle boarding session on the Delaware Bay before I moved to Colorado.

When they reached out to see if I would be interested in photographing their wedding, I said YES!

Toccoa Falls Wedding

Hannah and Hans live in Delaware, so this was a destination wedding for them and their guests! Toccoa Falls is an awesome venue at Toccoa Falls College in Atlanta, Georgia. The wedding was an opportunity for everyone coming to the wedding (myself included) to have a little weekend adventure together in the area. The whole wedding experience was perfect for Hannah and Hans. They love outdoor adventures, and not only did they get to say their vows at the base of a waterfall, but they got to share in a weekend adventure with their closest family and friends.

The morning of the wedding started with both Hannah and Hans getting ready at the cabins onsite at Toccoa Falls. Hannah did a first look with her dad in front of a smaller nearby waterfall. Before walking to the ceremony site to say their vows then Hannah and Hans prayed together without seeing each other.

Then for the ceremony. I can’t tell you how cool this venue is. Just look at the photos to take a look at the ceremony site. Hannah and Hans literally stood in front of a towering waterfall to say their vows. This is hands down one of the coolest venues I’ve ever photographed. Their ceremony was intimate and personal, and they even planted a unity tree together.

After the ceremony, we took photos in front of the waterfall before going inside to celebrate for the rest of the night.

This wedding was such an honor to be a part of, and a day I’ll definitely never forget!
