Congratulations to Mike and Jill!

It was an honor to photograph this surprise proposal at Bethany Beach, Delaware.

Jill thought they were taking a walk to the beach while waiting on a dinner reservation, but Mike had other plans. I was waiting on the beach trying to blend in with the tourists. Mike and Jill were walking down toward the beach. When they reached the sand, Mike got down on one knee, and Jill said YES! Both of their families were watching from a nearby balcony, and rolled out a “Future Mrs. Hanigan” sign once Jill said yes.

Then, we took photos for another hour before both families actually went out for a celebratory dinner.

It was such a fun night!
