Gabby and Sam’s Medicine Bow National Forest wedding was basically magical. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Medicine Bow National Forest, their celebration beautifully combined the beauty of the mountains and the rustic feel of Wyoming’s wide open spaces.

Their choice of location wasn’t just about stunning views. Medicine Bow National Forest is special for them because they worked there together and it became one of their favorite places.

Their Story

Gabby and Sam’s love story began in the kitchen. They met in culinary school where their shared passion for food brought them together. Good food and fun topped their list of wedding priorities. They actually did the catering for their own wedding, and let me tell you. The food was PHENOMENAL.

Choosing Medicine Bow National Forest for their wedding was an easy decision. It was one of the most beautiful places they had ever worked, and they fell in love with the area.

Gabby and Sam’s Wyoming ranch wedding was a celebration filled with rustic charm, natural beauty, and heartfelt moments.

Their ceremony took place right by one of the lakes in Medicine Bow National Forest, surrounded by towering trees and mountain views. Their dog, Athena, served as the ring “bear,” and proudly walked down the aisle led by their friend Alec.

After the ceremony, the celebration continued at Elk Hollow Lodge, a ranch located right on bank of the North Platte River. Guests enjoyed a relaxed cocktail hour full of fun elements and surprises. There were lawn games, a coffee bar, and llamas!

Dinner was served buffet-style, reflecting the couple’s culinary roots. It was truly an unforgettable night under the Wyoming stars.
