Dreka and Daniel chose to celebrate their love with an intimate elopement at Sapphire Point and Loveland Pass. Surrounded by breathtaking mountain views and their closest friends and family, their day was all about them. No stress and no pressure. Just love and fun!
When I asked Dreka and Daniel what was most important to them on their elopement day, this is what they said:
“The most important thing to me is just having a smooth stress free day. No worries about anything. Just celebrating our love.”
We started the day at Sapphire Point, an overlook near Breckenridge, Colorado. Surrounded by stunning mountain views, it was the perfect setting for an intimate ceremony with just the couple and their closest family members.
Shawndreka wore a butterfly brooch in memory of her mother and added a pendant with pictures of both her parents to her bouquet. Although they are no longer here, their presence was deeply felt throughout the day.
After exchanging vows, we all hung out at the overlook for awhile to enjoy the views and take some photos. Then we headed up to Loveland Pass!
Loveland Pass is a mountain pass that sits right around 12,000 feet above sea level. Dreka, Daniel, and their family came all the way from Louisiana, and wanted to really experience the mountains. Visiting the pass and taking in the views is a true Colorado experience, and we sure got it! Even though it was pretty windy up there, it’s always breathtaking.
