Katie and Larry’s wedding at Spruce Mountain Ranch was an incredible day! Here are just a few of the unique things that happened on their wedding day:

• A Mariachi band welcomed guests to the ceremony and reception
• It started downpouring during portraits, and we got a stunning rainbow for sunset photos
• Katie and Larry included a money dance and the Sea Snake Dance (La Vibora de La Mar) during their reception
• They ended the night with a bubble send-off

Their Story

Here is their story in Katie’s words:

“We met in high school. We are both so shy we never talked to each other but we both knew we liked each other. One of our mutual friends was trying to set us up and gave me Larry’s number. I was still too shy and one of my friends secretly texted Larry from my phone. We have been together ever since!

The most important thing on our wedding day is celebrating our love for each other and being with friends and family.”

I love this venue! It’s a beautiful ranch with lots of indoor/outdoor space and sweeping views of the mountains in the background. The venue also includes getting ready spaces and a big, open reception area that is reminiscent of a barn. For Katie and Larry’s wedding, they had their ceremony on the lawn with the mountains behind them. They decorated the rustic reception space with lights and flower arrangements, and it was stunning.
