Neither Jeff nor Ivanna are from Colorado, but they live here now. Colorado played an important role in their love story (we’ll get to that later), and now it’s the state they call home.

For their wedding, they invited their friends and family to an iconic place within the state: Rocky Mountain National Park. They said their wedding vows in Hidden Valley, a beautiful location in a lush meadow with mountain peaks in the background. Since most guests were coming from out of state, Ivanna and Jeff got to show them some of the best views in Colorado. After spending the afternoon in the park, everyone headed back to Estes Park to celebrate.

Their Story

Here’s their love story told by Ivanna:

“Jeff and I met on a ski trip in Keystone, CO through a mutual friend. We saw each other a few years in a row during those annual ski trips, and then one year he reached out to me when he came to Illinois for a work trip. We had dinner and planned on me visiting him later in the year to see more of what Colorado had to offer. After that trip, we kept in touch, and a year later, we decided that it was time for me to move to Colorado!”

Hidden Valley Wedding in Rocky Mountain National Park

Hidden Valley is one of the designated ceremony sites within Rocky Mountain National Park. You can have up to 30 guests, and the site is wheelchair accessible. If you’re looking for a location with wide open meadow space, mountain backgrounds, and lots of room for guests, Hidden Valley might be a great pick!

Ivanna and Jeff had the perfect summer day in the park. They got ready in Estes Park, had their ceremony at Hidden Valley, took more photos along Trail Ridge Road, and then celebrated at The Bird’s Nest in Estes Park.
