A Chautauqua Park wedding is perfect if you want to get married in front of Boulder’s iconic Flatirons. Nick and Katherine did just that! Boulder, Colorado is a special place for them, so with the Flatirons behind them, they said their vows on the green at Chautauqua Park and then celebrated at the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art. It was a really fun day filled with lots of laughs and special moments.

Their Story

Nick and Katherine met 8 years ago while Katherine was pursuing her master’s degree at Stanford. Nick was lucky to be living nearby and they matched online. The rest is history, and now they live in Colorado together.

Wedding at Chautauqua Park and Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art

For their wedding, they wanted “a balance of the outdoors and local art”. Plus they wanted a place that would allow family and friends from both coasts to meet. If you want views of the iconic Flatirons, you can’t get much better than Chautauqua Park! It was the perfect location for Nick and Katherine’s ceremony. Then the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art allowed them to incorporate local art into their wedding day.

As Nick said – “Our wedding is a celebration of our community because we have been together for some time and have made many friends along the way. We’re so excited to have so many of them in the same place.”
