Lisa and Craig’s Rocky Mountain National Park elopement was perfect for them! In Lisa’s words:

“We love adventure (especially in Colorado) and thought being alone and intimate would be especially memorable.”

It was a second wedding for both of them, and planning a wedding seemed overwhelming and expensive. Instead, they drove to Colorado in their Jeep, said their vows beside a creek in Estes Park, and then explored Rocky Mountain National Park.

They had perfect weather with sparkling snow and warm sunshine. Lisa said they wanted the day to be fun, intimate, and natural. It definitely was!

Note: Rocky Mountain National Park has strict regulations for ceremonies of any kind in the park. Make sure you are familiar with the park rules and obtain the proper permits. It really helps to work with a local photographer that knows the area and can help you through the permitting process! I’m very familiar with the park, and help all of my couples with permits, locations, weather preparedness, logistics, and more!
