Lyanne and Caleb’s mountain elopement in Breckenridge was a perfect day for them! The couple and their families traveled all the way from Texas for an authentic Colorado experience, and they got it.

Lyanne and Caleb started the day by watching the sunrise together. It was a beautiful, clear day and the sunrise lit up the surrounding peaks. Once the sun was up, their families joined them at Sapphire Point for an intimate ceremony overlooking the mountains and Dillon Reservoir. After the ceremony, everyone hung out at the overlook to spend time together and admire the view.

Next, Lyanne and Caleb went to a nearby mountain pass to hike and take in more of the views. Finally, the couple ended the morning at a secluded alpine lake where they exchanged private vows.

Their Story

Lyanne and Caleb met a few days before starting physical therapy school together. They ended up dating within the first year of school and have been together ever since. October 12th is their dating anniversary, and the elopement was on October, 13th, the day after their 6-year anniversary.

Why they chose an intimate wedding

Here’s what the couple said when asked why they chose a small, intimate wedding:

“We wanted to make this a special moment and memory for us and our family. We are not extravagant people and quickly realized that a big wedding was not for us. We want it to be low-key, sentimental and low-stress.”
