Tianna and Kellan envisioned golden aspen trees for their fall engagement photos in Rocky Mountain National Park, and wow did their vision come true! The aspens were at peak fall color, the weather was perfect, and Rocky Mountain was gorgeous as always. Tianna and Kellan obviously share so much joy, and their love really came out in their photos.
The couple met in high school and started dating after going to prom together. Kellan and Tianna love to adventure together, which includes travel, basketball, movie nights, whiskey, cooking, games, and hanging out with their family and friends. When I asked them what was most important to them when it came to their engagement photos, they said:
“The most important thing about our photos is that one could see our love and personalities. We’d love to incorporate the beautiful natural landscape, fall colors, water features, aspen trees, candid shots, and cool angles.”
This blog is one of two parts for Tianna and Kellan’s engagement photos. We started the day in an aspen grove and then ended at an alpine lake. If you want to see photos from the alpine lake, check out this blog post!
I’m a wedding and elopement photographer based in Boulder, Colorado, but I frequently work in Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park! I spend a lot of time in the park, whether for work or just for personal adventures. If you’re looking for a photographer in Rocky Mountain National Park, I’d love to chat with you! Check out some of my work in Colorado and then fill out my contact form so we can start planning your photography experience!
Note: Rocky Mountain National Park has strict regulations regarding photography in the park. Make sure you are familiar with the park rules and obtain the proper permits. It really helps to work with a local photographer that knows the area and can help you through the permitting process! I’m very familiar with the park, and help all of my couples with permits, locations, weather preparedness, logistics, and more!
