Alyssa and Graham had their engagement photos in Moab, Utah at Arches National Park. Alyssa grew up in Moab and they both live there now, so Arches National Park was the perfect spot. The red rock arches were a gorgeous background, and the sunset was super glowy on this particular evening.

Alyssa and Graham love the outdoors, and went to an overlook with red rocks and mountains for one of their first dates. It was cool to have engagement photos in a landscape that means so much to them.

Engagement Photos in Moab, Utah

Moab is an amazing location for engagement photos and elopements. The whole area is surrounded by red rocks and filled with adventure opportunities. If you are considering Moab for your engagement photos or elopement, there are so many incredible locations.

Arches National Park: This is the closest park to the actual city of Moab. Arches is known for, you guessed it, arch rock formations. There are tons of spots throughout the park for photos. From April through October, the park requires timed-entrance permits.

Canyonlands National Park: The most popular area of this park is about 45-60 minutes from Moab and features really epic canyons. There are several overlooks and trails to get views of the canyon below. Canyonlands National Park is broken down into three different regions: Island in the Sky, The Needles, and The Maze. Island in the Sky is the most accessible and the most popular, but the others are really cool too.

Moab BLM Land: There is lots of public land around Moab that is managed by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM).

Dead Horse Point State Park: This is a really cool park that overlooks a canyon and river. There is an overlook that is perfect for sunset!
