We had a gorgeous night for anniversary photos in Moab, Utah! Alle and Michael are friends of mine, and they joined me and my partner Cody on a trip to Moab. It was really fun to be able to take photos of them on the trip! It was Alle and Michael’s first time in Moab, and they loved it.

Engagement Photos in Moab

Moab is an amazing location for engagement photos, anniversary photos, or elopements. The whole area is surrounded by red rocks and filled with adventure opportunities. If you are considering Moab for your engagement photos or elopement, there are so many incredible locations. Here are a few!

Arches National Park: This is the closest park to the actual city of Moab. Arches is known for, you guessed it, arch rock formations. There are tons of spots throughout the park for photos.

Canyonlands National Park: The most popular area of this park is about 45-60 minutes from Moab and features really epic canyons. There are several overlooks and trails to get views of the canyon below. Canyonlands National Park is broken down into three different regions: Island in the Sky, The Needles, and The Maze. Island in the Sky is the most accessible and the most popular, but the others are really cool too.

Moab BLM Land: There is lots of public land around Moab that is managed by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM).

Dead Horse Point State Park: This is a really cool park that overlooks a canyon and river. There is an overlook that is epic for sunset!
