Paint Mines Interpretive Park, located outside of Colorado Springs, is a really unique location for engagement photos in Colorado. The colorful clay rock formations are fun to explore and make for a very cool backdrop. The pale formations include bands of bright colors, caused by oxidized iron compounds. Erica and Tristan chose to have their engagement photos at Paint Mines, and we had a blast exploring this park. Erica and Tristan did a full-day adventure for their engagement photos, and after the Paint Mines, we went Garden of the Gods. You can see those photos here.
