Congrats to Kerri and Andrew! They were married on a beautiful spring day in front of the historic mansion at Hagley Museum in Wilmington, Delaware.
Kerri and Andrew met through mutual friends but really got to know each other on a double date at a ski resort. In the words of one of their friends, “Andrew sacrificed his snowboarding time to constantly pick up Kerri when she fell. And it was a lot. I knew Kerri was smitten with her hero when she roasted him a hot dog over an open fire.” The couple has been inseparable ever since!
Kerri and Andrew’s wedding was originally planned for April of 2020, but they had to cancel and reschedule due to COVID-19. By the time their rescheduled wedding happened in 2021, they were legally already married, but they still had the chance to celebrate with friends and family. They picked the Hagley Museum in Wilmington because the property is beautiful in the spring. The ceremony took place in front of the historic mansion and the reception was inside the Soda House, which was the original house of the estate owners.
Here are some highlights from their wedding day!
Hagley Museum used to be an operating black powder mill. After the wedding ceremony, the museum treated everyone to a cannon demonstration!
