Congrats to Dillon and Maija! Dillon proposed to Maija on the beach at Cape Henlopen State Park in Lewes, Delaware and she said YES!

It’s always special for me to photograph proposals because they are such special and significant moments.

Here is Dillon and Maija’s proposal story!

Dillon and Maija live in Texas, but Maija was visiting the Washington D.C area to spend time with her family. Maija thought Dillon was staying in Texas, but without Maija knowing, Dillon flew out to the East coast. He surprised her by showing up unexpectedly at the beach while she was visiting Lewes, Delaware for the day. They went on a walk along the water and then Dillon proposed.

I was photographing the whole thing in secret, and then we took more engagement photos until sunset.
