Rehoboth Beach Wedding | Allison + Anthony

Congratulations to Allison and Anthony! They had a stunning, nautical wedding in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.

Their Story

Allison and Anthony met in a microbiology course at the University of Delaware in 2010. Allison made the first move by asking Anthony if he would like to study together. They went on their first (unofficial) date to Dog Fish restaurant followed by a movie but weren’t actually dating yet.

After Anthony graduated, they continued to keep in touch, but only saw each other in the summer. Allison went off to vet school. They kept in touch and tried to see each other while Allison was home for breaks. After Allison graduated in May 2016, she moved back to Wilmington, Delaware. At the time, Anthony was working in Wilmington and living in Bear.

After not seeing each other for over year, they went to dinner at Iron Hill on the Riverfront. They began to talk more frequently and began officially dating in the fall of 2016.

In 2018, Allison accepted a year-long position in Fort Collins, Colorado. During that year Anthony visited Colorado several times. They hiked Horsetooth, adventured in Rocky Mountain National Park, and explored Chictaqua Park in the winter. Allie returned to the East Coast in July 2019. On August 3, while doing their annual family photos on the beach, Anthony proposed.

The Wedding

Their entire wedding was centered around what they would do on a typical summer weekend-brunch, beach and live music. They had a morning reception on Rehoboth Beach and then celebrated with their friends and family at Salero, an oceanfront venue with stunning views of the beach.

Fun Story

I met Allison and Anthony back in 2017. They applied to be models for a photoshoot I was doing for Kent County Tourism. I photographed them for that photoshoot, then they let me photograph them again at a location I had always wanted to shoot at (you can see that session here). Then I had the honor of photographing their wedding!
