They were married in a beautiful intimate rustic wedding at their family’s barn in Clayton, Delaware. While they had originally planned a larger wedding in the fall, but due to COVID-19, they decided to have a smaller celebration in July with just their closest family and friends.
Their Story
Ashley and Zack met in church where they were best friends for a year. They started dating during high school and throughout college. Ashley went to college in Oklahoma, so they had to learn how to date long distance. Zack proposed in front of Ashley’s favorite coffee shop in Oklahoma during her homecoming weekend. He arranged for decorations, and for all of her friends to be there. In Ashley’s words:
“We have chosen each other no matter what. COVID definitely changed some plans but we are both just so excited to be husband and wife sooner than expected!”
Their Wedding
The location of the wedding was special to them because it is Ashley’s family farm. The farm has a lot of history and has been a sweet place for Zack and Ashley to spend time throughout their relationship. Now it will be even more special for them! When planning the wedding, they were inspired by the natural, rustic beauty of the farm.
