Sunrise Proposal at Bethany Beach | David + Sarah Grace

David and Sarah Grace are engaged! David planned a sunrise proposal at Bethany Beach in Delaware. Just as the sun was coming up over the water, Sarah Grace said yes!

Their story

David had just gotten out of the Coast Guard and was planning to propose to Sarah Grace at the beach because she loves the outdoors, and especially the ocean.

Sarah Grace grew up visiting her grandparents who have a house in Bethany Beach. She has lots of fond memories in the area, so David picked Bethany as the place for the proposal.

Until the proposal, David and Sarah Grace had never watched a sunrise together, only sunsets. Luckily, we had a beautiful sunrise for the morning of the proposal! I pretended to be photographing the landscape until David got down on one knee. Then I jumped in and photographed the proposal. After the proposal, we continued to take more photos on the beach and boardwalk for the hour after sunrise.

It was a beautiful morning, and a wonderful way to to start an engagement!
