Meet Gemma and Andrea!

These two are from Milan, Italy, but we happened to be visiting the Wadi Rum Desert in southern Jordan at the same time.

Here’s a little backstory:
Gemma and Andrea met when Gemma had an interview with Andrea’s company. Andrea was the representative who first greeted Gemma at the interview. As Gemma said, she doesn’t remember much of the interview because she was just thinking about Andrea! She got the job, they got married last summer, they still work together, and now they love to travel together over the holidays.

We had a blast taking photos in the stunning Wadi Rum Desert in Jordan!

Wadi Rum is a desert in Southern Jordan. Wadi means valley, and the desert is cut into a valley of sandstone and granite. I really love deserts, and this place is one of the reasons I wanted to visit Jordan. Fun fact: several movies have been filmed in Wadi Rum including Star Wars, The Martian, and Aladdin.
