Chris and Andrea are one of the sweetest, most thoughtful couples I have ever worked with. To give you an idea, Chris literally asked ME if I was having fun during their reception. Their wedding at Nassau Valley Vineyards in Lewes, Delaware was one of my favorite weddings I’ve ever been part of.

Chris and Andrea’s deep love for both each other and for their friends and family was so evident throughout the entire day.

Their Story in Chris and Andrea’s Words:

In the fall of 2011, Andrea was sitting through a mandatory freshman orientation event at Elizabethtown College when she first saw Chris Tjaden. Chris, a senior at the time, was performing at the event. Andrea was instantly taken by Chris’s talent and charisma in front of others and an innocent crush began.

Months later, Chris saw Andrea for the first time – working her weekly shift in the campus convenience store. They spoke their first words to each other (we can only assume it was “Thank you, have a nice day”) and Chris began a frequent ritual of visiting the store around this time to pick up a much-needed bottle of water.

For the next few years, either Andrea or Chris would post a picture on Instagram, and the other one liked it. Finally, in 2015, Andrea and Chris both happened to be out in Lancaster, PA on the same night. In a very cliche moment, the crowd seemed to part and suddenly they were standing right in front of each other. Stunned for a few moments, Chris broke the silence and by exclaiming “Hey! It’s you!”

….and the rest is history.

The Wedding

Chris and Andrea were married at Nassau Valley Vineyards in Lewes, Delaware. The ceremony was held under the trees, and the fall foliage was at peak color. They really focused on celebrating their marriage with their closest family and friends.
