The Indian River Life-Saving Station is my all-time favorite wedding venue in all of Delaware.
Why? First, the Life-Saving Station is an important part of Delaware’s coastal heritage. The Station was built in 1876 for use by the United States Lifesaving Service, a government organization created to respond to shipwrecks along the coastlines of the United States. The shipmen who once lived here used to save shipwreck victims off the coast of Delaware. Now, you can have your wedding right next to this beautiful, historic structure. How cool is that?
Plus, the Station is part of Delaware Seashore State Park, and you get a perfect slice of private beach for your ceremony.
The Indian River Life-Saving Station is the best place to combine beach, nature, history, and a unique piece of Delaware culture!
This wedding was a styled shoot in partnership with Delaware State Parks. I planned and photographed the shoot. Thanks to this amazing team of vendors!
