Happy 30th anniversary to Aimee and Blaine! To celebrate, their daughter Marresa planned a surprise anniversary session for them at the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. Aimee loves hot air balloons, and it was their first time at the Fiesta.

I met Aimee, Blaine, and Marresa early in the morning for mass ascension, which is when all of the balloons take off at once during sunrise. The Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta is the largest hot air balloon festival in the world and features over 500 hot air balloons.

The festival was amazing, and it was an honor to photograph this wonderful family!
