This proposal was so much fun! Andrew approached me and said he wanted to plan a surprise proposal for Katelyn. The couple had modeled for me before, so his idea was for me to ask him and Katelyn to model for me again, but this time for a marketing photoshoot at Cape Henlopen State Park. Then the plan was for him to propose at sunset on the beach.

Katelyn totally bought it. I even asked if she thought her sister, Stephanie, and her boyfriend Zach would come along to model too. Everyone was in on the surprise, but Katelyn had no idea!

When the day came, rain was in the forecast, but I said I wanted to do the shoot anyway. We started by taking some photos in the dunes, and then moved to the beach for sunset. Andrew proposed, Katelyn said YES, and when we turned around, a beautiful rainbow was in the sky.

After the shoot, both of their families were waiting for us at a nearby restaurant.

It was a perfect night!
