Katelyn is #chuppgraded!

I love their hashtag. Katelyn and Andrew were married at the Kylan Barn in Delmar, Maryland, and WOW. Their wedding day was beautiful in every way! This wedding was special for me because I knew both Andrew and Katelyn before they were even dating. The two met in November 2016 while serving on the greeting team at UNITED church in Dover. Andrew Facebook friended Katelyn, and after a month of messaging, they went on our first date.

Over the next year, they spent time together visiting friends and family, going to the beach, and eating lots of Mexican food. On May 19th, Andrew planned “the best surprise photoshoot ever” and proposed at Cape Henlopen State Park at sunset! I happened to be there, and you can read more about the proposal here.

Their wedding day was filled with lavender, friends, family, and pure joy. It was an honor to serve as their wedding photographer, and I know their marriage will be even more beautiful than this magical wedding.

Their first look was so sweet! They read letters from each other, and then Katelyn came up and gave Andrew a hug from behind.

Andrew and Katelyn chose to have an intimate ceremony with only their closest family and friends. Then the rest of their guests joined later for the reception!

There was an ice cream bar. AMAZING.
